How It Works
1.) Drop Off Your Photos
We'll meet briefly so you can drop off your loose photos and albums. (No organization necessary!)
2.) Receive Your Estimate
I will take your photos and send you a prompt estimate within a few hours: Once I receive approval, I will begin scanning your collection!
Estimates are based on the kit sizes below and any loose photos will be returned in the kit size that best matches your estimate.
3.) Meet for Photo and USB Pickup
Once your photos are finished, I will reach out to coordinate a pickup time that best works for you.
You’ll receive your original photos back, plus an included USB drive with digital copies.

Notes on Digital Sorting and Albums:
Digital sorting requires photos to be clearly grouped and labeled (e.g., by year, album name, etc.) if requested
Album scanning can be bundled with kits or done as a standalone service
Photos are scanned from the front and returned safely grouped by default, with optional add-ons for back-side scanning and album reassembly.

Your payment helps reserve your spot in the schedule. You’ll always know your total before scanning begins!
For albums, photos will be counted based on number of photos per page and pages per album. For loose photos, a method similar to the estimation calculator on this website will be used to determine price.

To respect your privacy, kit drop-off and pick up will be conducted at one of three Kwik Trip locations in the Fox Valley.

When you drop off your photos, I’ll quickly confirm that your collection looks good to go. If anything looks significantly different than expected at the time of scanning, I’ll reach out for approval before I begin, no surprises.
To keep things simple, all completed scans will be returned safely in sturdy cardboard boxes (or archival storage boxes if chosen)
I am able to scan photos from most albums; however, due to their fragile nature, photos stored in magnetic self-stick or adhesive pages are not able to be placed back into their albums (if option is chosen). These photos will be returned separately in a protective bag or box alongside your album.

I strive to provide clean, high quality digital scans (300 DPI). Due to the age and condition of original prints, some minor imperfections may occur and are considered normal. If any scans are noticeably blurred, cropped incorrectly, or have avoidable defects, will offer a free rescan for those specific images if requested within 7 days of delivery.

I reserve the right to decline scanning any photos that contain explicit, graphic, or violent content. If such material is identified during scanning, those images will not be digitized and will be returned with the original materials.
Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
To protect the privacy and security of your photos, I do not store files in the cloud or on the internet, and they are not kept on my system longer than necessary. Within 24 hours of returning your flash drive and original photos, all digital files will be permanently deleted.
